Peter Hunt with a beautiful 21” Smallmouth Bass on the line......

See? This is the second largest Smallmouth we’ve ever caught, a 21-incher. When you fish Walleyes this time of the year, sometimes the Smallmouth hook up. Treated kindly and released of course......

And a nice shot of Peter releasing the Smallmouth......

This year’s Loon on the nest in the channel letting the Mallards know in no uncertain terms that they are not welcome in the vicinity......

The Loon still chewing out the geese, mouth wide open and making lots of Loon noises......

Jerry cut himself, somehow, on the boat. He never felt it, doesn’t know how it happened. Weird......

Well, no. We’re still big on 100% catch and release. This is a red snapper, purchased, that was a major element of our Seafood Stew dinner tonight......

Hey, fishing is hard work, it really is. You think it’s all relaxation on the lake? A bloke has to relax, back at the cabin in the afternoon, when the weather is hot and calm and the fish are not biting.......

Rick Zieman about to release one of the five walleyes he caught during the evening bite......

When the sun is about this high in the sky the evening bite is typically at its peak. Jerry, Rick, and Pat in Jerry’s boat. .....
